Who handles your data

The data controller is Mena S.r.l., the company that runs this site, Italian VAT no. 05275860756, registered office at Strada Comunale Matino Casarano 540, 73042 Casarano (LE), Italy, workshop at Via Antonio Filograna 1340, Casarano (LE). For anything about this policy, write to info@itavers.com.

What we collect

Only what you type into the quote form: your name, your email address, and, if you choose to give them, your company, phone number and a description of the part you need.

We use no profiling cookies, run no behavioural advertising, and have no third-party analytics on this site. There is no cookie banner because there are no cookies to consent to.

Our infrastructure provider automatically logs technical details of requests to the server, including IP address, for security and operational reasons. That technical data is kept for a few days, then deletes itself, and we do not use it to identify you.

There is one exception: if the notification fails to send, your request is written in full to those same technical logs, because it is the only way we have of not losing it. That copy holds what you typed, we cannot delete it individually, and it deletes itself within a few days.

Why, and on what legal basis

To reply to you and prepare a quote. The legal basis is steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract, under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR: you wrote asking for a quote, and we use your details to give you one.

Technical logs are processed under legitimate interests, Article 6(1)(f), to keep the site secure and working.

We will never send you marketing without your separate, explicit consent.

Who we share it with

Nobody, commercially. We do not sell or rent personal data.

Technically your data passes through two providers acting as processors: Cloudflare, Inc., which hosts this site and forwards messages from the form, and Google LLC, because the inbox that receives enquiries is hosted on Gmail.

We would disclose data to an authority only where legally required.

Transfers outside the EU

Cloudflare and Google are US companies. Where your data is processed outside the European Economic Area, the transfer relies on the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, or another safeguard permitted by the GDPR.

How long we keep it

Quote requests stay in our inbox for as long as they are needed to deal with you, and in any case no longer than 24 months from our last contact, unless tax or accounting obligations require longer because the enquiry became an order.

You can ask us to delete it sooner, and we will.

Your rights

You can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, object to our using it, or hand it over in a machine-readable format so you can take it elsewhere.

Write to info@itavers.com. We reply within one month, as the GDPR requires. There is no charge for any of this.

If you think we are handling your data badly, you can complain to the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it).

Security

The site is served over HTTPS only. The form does not accept attachments and we store no uploaded files. Enquiries arrive in a protected inbox, readable only by the people at Itavers who need to read them.

Children

This site is aimed at businesses and professionals. We do not knowingly collect data about anyone under 16. If we find that we have, we delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy we update the date at the top of the page. Substantial changes will be flagged clearly.
